Islamic Affairs Ministry continues awareness efforts for visitors at Mount Arafat

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through the General Secretariat for Islamic Awareness in Hajj, Umrah and Visit, is continuing its awareness and guidance programs for pilgrims at key sites, including Mount Arafat’s Jabal Al-Rahma, during the current Umrah season for 1448 AH. These efforts are part of a comprehensive range of services provided by the ministry to educate visitors about religious rulings related to historic sites and to strengthen religious awareness among those visiting these locations.

Field activities include answering visitors’ questions at Islamic awareness booths set up around Mount Arafat and the Namira Mosque, with the participation of a group of preachers and translators in several languages. The ministry also works to correct misconceptions, highlight religious errors, and distribute educational materials and publications in multiple languages, helping to spread religious awareness among visitors from diverse nationalities.

These efforts reflect the ongoing mission of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance to promote religious understanding, reinforce the values of moderation and tolerance, and showcase Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving pilgrims, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
