Absher outlines steps to update resident ID photo online

The General Directorate of Passports has explained the process for residents to update their ID photos, noting that the service can be completed easily online through the Absher platform.

According to Absher’s official page on X, users can update their photo by uploading a new image via the Absher app. Alternatively, the update can be done by logging into the Absher website, selecting 'My Services,' and then choosing 'Update Resident Photo.'

Absher also clarified the requirements for photo acceptance: the lighting and dimensions must match official standards, men must have their heads uncovered, no additions are allowed on the face, and the background must be completely white.
