Over 85,000 students return to classrooms in Al-Baha as new school year begins

More than 85,000 students returned to schools under the General Directorate of Education in Al-Baha region, covering both the Sarat and Tihama sectors, as the new academic year began today. The start was marked by extensive organizational and educational preparations to ensure a ready school environment from day one.

Over 12,000 teachers welcomed students back to school, supported by more than 400 supervisors who are monitoring the educational process in the field, ensuring schools are fully prepared and classes are running smoothly from the very first lesson.

Schools prepared their facilities and classrooms to receive students, implementing orientation and integration programs to help them adjust to the school environment. Entry procedures were organized, students were guided to their classrooms, and schedules and necessary resources were provided to ensure a smooth start to the academic year.

During the first days, schools play a key role in supporting students both psychologically and educationally, especially newcomers, by creating a motivating learning environment that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages positive engagement with teachers and peers.
