US condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, warns Iran

The US State Department said that Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia are completely unacceptable and strongly condemned them.

Speaking to Al Arabiya, the department added that the Houthis are merely proxies for the Iranian regime, which it described as the source of regional problems. The US is prepared to use sanctions or military options against Iran.

The statement continued that the US does not want Iran to use the Strait of Hormuz as leverage, affirming that the Iranian regime will not obtain a nuclear weapon. US President Donald Trump is ready to use all available tools regarding Iran.
