Muslim World League condemns Houthi missile and drone attacks on Saudi cities

The Muslim World League has strongly condemned the continued attacks by the Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia, including the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif, with several ballistic missiles and drones. The assaults resulted in civilian injuries and damage to homes and vehicles.

In a statement issued by the League's General Secretariat, Secretary-General and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, reiterated his denunciation of these attacks, describing them as criminal and treacherous acts that violate religious values as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms.

He added that these assaults reflect the criminal approach of the Houthi militia in deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.

On behalf of the League's assemblies, bodies, global councils, and the Muslim peoples under its umbrella, Sheikh Al-Issa affirmed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to defend its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

He also prayed for God to protect the Kingdom—its land, leadership, and people—from all harm and evil.
