Civil Defense issues early warning alert for emergencies in Dammam

The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced on Wednesday that an alert has been issued via the National Early Warning Platform in Dammam to warn of potential danger.

The Civil Defense stated that if you receive warning messages from the National Early Warning Platform during emergencies, you should follow these guidelines:

Remain calm and follow official instructions. Immediately move to the nearest safe location inside a building or an interior room away from windows, and stay there until the danger has passed.

The Civil Defense emphasized not to leave your home or building until the threat is over, to avoid open areas and glass, and not to stand on balconies or rooftops.

It added that if you are outside, you should enter the nearest building or take cover behind a solid barrier, avoid gathering or taking photos, and stay away from hazardous locations.

The Civil Defense stressed that if you notice any danger, you should call the emergency number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or (998) in other regions of the Kingdom, and follow instructions issued by the authorities through official channels.
