Five arrested in Asir for smuggling 300 kg of khat

Border Guard ground patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested five individuals of Yemeni and Ethiopian nationality for violating border security regulations and attempting to smuggle 300 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

According to a statement posted on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed, and the suspects along with the seized contraband have been handed over to the relevant authorities.
