Saudi leaders congratulate Pakistan president on Independence Day

King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of congratulations to President Asif Ali Zardari of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.

The king expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes for President Zardari’s continued health and happiness, and for the government and people of Pakistan to enjoy further progress and prosperity.

He also praised the strong fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples, and affirmed the commitment to further strengthen and develop these relations in all fields.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also sent a cable of congratulations to President Zardari on Pakistan’s Independence Day.

The crown prince extended his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes for President Zardari’s good health and happiness, and for the government and people of Pakistan to achieve greater progress and prosperity.
