Italian foreign minister voices support for Saudi Arabia in call with Prince Faisal bin Farhan

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from Antonio Tajani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy.

At the start of the call, the Italian foreign minister condemned the Houthi attacks targeting areas in Saudi Arabia, stressing Italy's solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for measures taken to safeguard its security.

Tajani also thanked Saudi authorities for their efforts to ensure the safety of residents in the Kingdom, including Italian citizens.

The two ministers discussed the latest regional and international developments, as well as efforts to ensure the safety and freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al-Mandab, contributing to the smooth flow of international trade and the security and stability of the region.
