Al-Baha education department concludes 2026 summer programs

The General Directorate of Education in Al-Baha concluded its educational and sports programs yesterday, held as part of the "Al-Baha Summer 2026" events.

The programs featured a diverse range of educational, cultural, sports, and entertainment activities. Highlights included a summer program organized in cooperation with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), which saw the participation of 58 male and female students. The initiative aimed to develop their scientific and academic skills, and to strengthen their abilities in innovation and technology.

Other events included the "Kinza Al-Qimam" football championship, held in partnership with the Saudi School Sports Federation, and the "Kinza for Intelligence and Challenge" track, designed for people with disabilities to encourage their participation in intellectual activities and enhance their skills.

The activities also featured the "Fly and Go" program, which trained participants in cycling and introduced them to paragliding skills, as well as the "My Beautiful Environment" initiative aimed at promoting vegetation and raising environmental awareness. Additionally, the "Junior Tour Guide" initiative introduced students to Al-Baha’s key landmarks and provided them with information cards to share with visitors.

These summer programs aimed to help students make the most of their vacation, develop their skills, and encourage their involvement in a variety of activities within a safe and engaging educational environment.

The closing ceremony included a review of the main achievements and outcomes of the programs, a video presentation documenting the activities, and the honoring of supporting and participating organizations, as well as supervisors, in recognition of their efforts in implementing the programs and achieving their objectives.
