Umrah guests visit King Abdulaziz Complex for Kaaba Kiswa

Guests from the second group of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Umrah and Visit Program, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, visited the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Kaaba Kiswa in Makkah today. The visit was part of a cultural program designed to enrich their experience during their stay in the holy city.

During the tour, the guests learned about the history of the Kaaba Kiswa’s production and the development of the complex. They received an explanation of the historical stages of the Kiswa’s manufacture and viewed exhibits and photographs documenting its evolution and the advancements in production techniques and precision.

The visitors were introduced to the various stages of making the Kiswa, from preparing the fabric and materials, through weaving and embroidery, to the final assembly. They also learned about the raw materials used and the high level of craftsmanship required, all carried out by skilled Saudi professionals.

The guests expressed their admiration for the meticulous work and high quality of the Kiswa’s production, praising the expertise of the national workforce. They highlighted how these efforts reflect Saudi Arabia’s care for the Grand Mosque and its commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques.
