Education minister: New education law will boost quality standards

Speaking at a government press conference, Al-Benyan said the law will help improve the quality of the educational environment and provide the necessary enablers to achieve sector targets, as well as regulate the role of the private sector.
He added that the key pillars of the new education law include upholding religious values, preserving national identity, celebrating the Kingdom’s history and symbols, and maintaining proficiency and pride in the Arabic language.
Al-Benyan also noted that more than 35% of children are currently enrolled in early childhood education, which he described as the foundation of learning. The ministry aims to raise this figure to 90% by the end of 2030.
