Saudi environmental security apprehends man for illegal camel grazing in Imam Turki bin Abdullah Reserve

The Special Forces for Environmental Security have apprehended a Saudi citizen for violating environmental regulations by grazing 15 camels in prohibited areas within the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve. Legal procedures have been taken against him.

The forces stated that the penalty for grazing camels in restricted zones is a fine of 500 riyals (SAR) per camel. They urged the public to report any incidents that threaten the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other regions of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
