Saudi JMRCC Rescues French Citizen on Sailboat Stuck Near Sudan’s Marsa Oseif

Jeddah Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (JMRCC) of the Border Guards successfully rescued a French skipper whose sailboat stuck along coral reefs near Sudan’s Marsa Oseif.

In coordination with Sudanese surveillance authorities, the JMRCC promptly responded to the distress signal issued by the French surveillance and rescue centre and the relevant agency in Sudan.

Efforts are underway to tow the sailboat to Marsa Oseif for repairs to address the malfunction.
