Saudi authorities arrest man in Hail for drug trafficking

The General Directorate of Narcotics Control has arrested a Saudi citizen in the Hail region for trafficking hashish and prescription-only medication.

According to a statement posted on its X account, the directorate said the suspect has been detained, legal measures have been taken, and he has been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Authorities urged the public to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 in other regions, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, or by emailing [email protected]. All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality.
