Early warning issued in Jazan as authorities urge safety precautions

The National Emergency Early Warning Platform has issued an alert in the Jazan region, warning of a potential threat. Residents are urged to remain calm, follow official instructions, and immediately move to the nearest safe location, such as inside a building or an interior room away from windows, and stay there until the danger has passed.

Authorities also advised people not to leave their homes or buildings until the threat is over, to avoid open areas, glass, and locations exposed to risk such as balconies or rooftops. If outside, individuals should enter the nearest building or take cover behind a solid barrier, avoid gathering or taking photos, and stay away from hazardous sites.

If a warning message is received while in a vehicle, drivers should pull over to the side of the road away from bridges and tall buildings. In case of danger, residents should call the emergency number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 998 in other areas of the Kingdom, and follow instructions issued by the relevant authorities through official channels.
