Saudi leaders send condolences to Japan's emperor after Kumamoto earthquake

King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Emperor Naruhito of Japan over the victims of the earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture in southwestern Japan.

The King said: "We have learned of the earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture in southwestern Japan, resulting in deaths, injuries, and missing persons. As we share in Your Majesty’s sorrow over this tragedy, we extend our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to you, to the families of the deceased, and to your friendly people. We wish for the safe return of the missing to their families, a swift recovery for the injured, and that you see no further harm."

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Emperor Naruhito of Japan over the victims of the earthquake in Kumamoto Prefecture, southwestern Japan.

The Crown Prince said: "I was informed of the earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture in southwestern Japan, resulting in deaths, injuries, and missing persons. I extend to Your Majesty, the families of the deceased, and your friendly people my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy.
