Qassim municipality steps up efforts to improve urban landscape in Al-Bukayriyah

Al-Bukayriyah Municipality, part of the Qassim Region Municipality, is continuing its field operations to address visual blight, improve the urban landscape, and enhance quality of life in the governorate and its affiliated centers.

Municipality chief engineer Fayez Al-Oqaili said that in July 2026, the municipality constructed, maintained, and painted over 7,000 square meters of sidewalks, and installed or repaired 349 lighting poles, contributing to a better appearance, increased safety, and improved public facilities. He added that the work also included removing 271 square meters of graffiti, repairing 245 square meters of street potholes, and installing 16 new directional signs to further enhance the urban environment and improve mobility within the governorate.

Al-Oqaili emphasized that the municipality will continue its maintenance and improvement projects according to its plans to upgrade municipal services and facilities, reduce visual pollution, and provide an urban environment that boosts quality of life for residents and visitors.
