Winners honored at sixth Cultural Communication Award ceremony in Riyadh

Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh, patronized the award ceremony for the winners of the sixth Cultural Communication Award, organized by the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, held at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh last night.

Upon his arrival, he was received by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sabeel, Chairman of the Center’s Board of Trustees, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawzan, Secretary-General of the Center.

After the Saudi national anthem, the ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Dr. Al-Sabeel then delivered a speech on behalf of the Board of Trustees, expressing gratitude to the country’s leadership for their confidence and support of the center.

He also thanked the Governor and Deputy Governor of Riyadh for their ongoing support of the center’s activities and programs, appreciating the Deputy Governor’s patronage of the sixth edition of the award. He emphasized that this support motivates the center to continue fulfilling its national mission and enhancing its societal impact.

Dr. Al-Sabeel highlighted the center’s achievements in promoting values of tolerance and social cohesion, strengthening national identity, showcasing Saudi Arabia’s cultural image, and building bridges with various cultures and civilizations. He stressed the importance of communication in building trust, fostering coexistence, serving humanity, and contributing to peace and development.

He congratulated the winners of the sixth award: Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Hail Municipality, Abdulmonem Al-Rashed Humanitarian Foundation, Saudi Scout Association, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Ikram Al-Dhaif Company, Al-Salam ASC, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Salamah, and Dr. Haifa bint Mohammed Al-Rubaian. He acknowledged the efforts of all nominees and their belief in the center’s mission, and thanked the award’s partners and sponsors.

Following this, attendees watched a documentary about the award’s journey and objectives.

At the conclusion of the event, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman honored the winners and sponsors, and received a commemorative gift to mark the occasion.
