UN Security Council backs Saudi Arabia’s efforts to protect its security

Political analyst Dr. Saeed Al-Qadi stated that the UN Security Council stands in solidarity with Saudi Arabia in its efforts to protect its security and confront the actions of the Houthi terrorist militias.

Speaking in an interview with Al-Ekhbariya TV, he added that the significance of the Security Council’s position lies in granting legal authority under international law and in mobilizing strong international public opinion in support of the measures Saudi Arabia takes to safeguard its own security and that of the region.

The UN Security Council had earlier strongly condemned the ongoing Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, which have resulted in civilian casualties and caused damage to energy infrastructure.
