Saudi justice minister meets Malaysian chief justice to boost cooperation

Saudi Minister of Justice Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani met with Malaysia’s Chief Justice, Wan Ahmad Fadhil bin Wan Salleh, during an official visit to Malaysia, in the presence of several senior Malaysian judicial officials.

The meeting focused on strengthening judicial cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, exchanging expertise in case management, digital transformation, and judicial development, as well as discussing other topics of mutual interest.

Al-Samaani was also briefed on Malaysia’s electronic court system and judicial management mechanisms, and toured several facilities at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya.

At the conclusion of the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed to enhance judicial cooperation between the two countries. The agreement covers the exchange of expertise in effective case management, the use of technology in justice administration, case and document management, legal information sharing, and the organization of professional visits to strengthen cooperation and knowledge exchange between relevant authorities.
