Traffic authority to launch online auction for special license plates Sunday via Absher

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Traffic has announced that its electronic auction for special license plates will begin on Sunday via the Absher platform, allowing interested buyers to participate online.

The authority stated on its X account that participation in the auction involves four steps: logging into Absher, selecting 'Services' from the 'My Services' tab, choosing 'Traffic,' and then selecting the 'Electronic License Plate Auction' service.

The General Directorate of Traffic clarified that the auction will continue until Monday, August 10, 2026.
