National Guard Ministry honored by SDAIA for excellence in data governance

The Ministry of National Guard held a ceremony at its headquarters to celebrate its achievement of outstanding levels of compliance with national data management standards and specifications, reaching the highest standards in data management and governance practices, as recognized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

During the event, Rabdi bin Fahd Al-Rabdi, Head of the National Data Management Office at SDAIA, delivered a speech commending the ministry for its exemplary performance in data management and governance. He emphasized that this accomplishment reflects the dedication and commitment of the ministry’s team to national standards and best practices.

Colonel Engineer Abdullah bin Hussein Al-Asmari, Director of the Data Management Office at the Ministry of National Guard, also addressed the audience, reaffirming the ministry’s full commitment to national data management regulations and standards. He highlighted the ministry’s ongoing efforts to further develop its data management and governance practices to enhance operational efficiency and data quality, and expressed appreciation for SDAIA’s role in empowering and supporting government entities, reflecting the maturity of the data sector in Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony featured a visual presentation titled “Journey of Impact,” which outlined the ministry’s progress and achievements in this field, as well as an accompanying exhibition, “Enablers of Impact,” showcasing key efforts and tools that have strengthened the ministry’s data management and governance practices.

At the conclusion of the event, the Ministry of National Guard was formally honored, with Deputy Minister Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood receiving the commemorative shield from the Head of the National Data Management Office at SDAIA. Success partners from within the ministry were also recognized for their contributions to this achievement.
