Saudi, South Korean defense ministers condemn Houthi attacks

Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman held a phone call today with South Korean Minister of National Defense Kang Shin-chul.

Khalid bin Salman congratulated Kang Shin-chul on his appointment as South Korea's Minister of National Defense.

During the call, the two ministers discussed prospects for defense cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Korea, as well as regional developments of mutual interest.

Both sides stressed the importance of supporting efforts to achieve peace in the region and globally, and condemned the Houthi terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia.
