National vegetation center unveils 10 investment opportunities for Al-Baha parks

The National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification has launched 10 investment opportunities across several national parks in the Al-Baha region, as part of its efforts to enhance vegetation cover and promote sustainable investment in the Kingdom’s natural areas. The initiative aims to foster partnerships with the private sector and support nature-based tourism destinations.

The center stated that these opportunities are designed to empower the private sector to implement projects with lasting environmental and economic impact by developing and protecting vegetation sites, enhancing their sustainability, and improving the efficient use of natural resources. The goal is to strike a balance between economic development and environmental preservation.

The proposed opportunities cover a range of activities, including camping, caravanning, and ecotourism, all of which contribute to the development of national parks and reinforce their appeal as attractive destinations for visitors from within Saudi Arabia and abroad.

Initiatives supporting Saudi Vision 2030

In this context, the center is also offering both long-term and seasonal investment opportunities aimed at expanding vegetation cover, supporting afforestation projects, and conserving natural resources. These efforts are intended to help grow the national economy and create new job opportunities for citizens, in line with the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030.
