Najran University announces full readiness for new academic year 1448-49

Najran University has announced that it is fully prepared for the 1448-1449 academic year, following the implementation of integrated operational plans covering academic, technical, service, and student affairs to ensure a smooth start to the semester.

University spokesperson Dr. Shadi Badawood explained that preparations resulted from early, coordinated efforts among various departments, with a focus on comprehensive readiness across all vital aspects of the university.

On the technical front, the university enhanced its e-learning system by preparing 15 electronic courses according to quality standards, conducting 25 training sessions on the Blackboard Ultra system, and developing the NUx open education platform, which now offers nine free courses.

Additionally, the university contributed 252 educational resources to the OERx platform and equipped a virtual reality lab and an interactive course recording lab, aiming to advance the educational process and improve the student experience.

Enhancing service quality and the university experience

The university affirmed that its academic, technical, service, and student initiatives work together to improve the quality of services provided, positively impacting the student experience as the new academic year begins.
