He noted that this enhances connectivity options for trade, supports the smooth flow of supply chains, and facilitates the movement of imports and exports.
Al-Mazroua explained that the arrival of such large vessels reflects Jeddah Islamic Port’s strategic location and advanced operational capabilities, which boost its competitiveness as a major maritime trade hub on the Red Sea. He added that the port plays a key role in linking Saudi Arabia to global markets and supporting its position as a global logistics center, in line with the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
