King Salman issued several royal orders on July 11, including new appointments in industry and military sectors.

Saudi Arabia Announces Series of Royal Appointments and Reshuffles

Saudi Arabia announced a series of Royal Orders on Saturday, including the appointment of Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, in addition to his current role as Minister of Energy.

The orders relieved Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef of his position as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and appointed him Minister of State and a member of the Council of Ministers. He was also assigned to serve as acting Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, alongside his new responsibilities.

Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali was relieved of his position as Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries.

The Royal Orders also included the appointment of Shalaan bin Rajeh bin Abdullah bin Shalaan as an Adviser at the Royal Court at the Excellent Rank, after he was relieved of his position as Deputy Public Prosecutor.

Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamzah Bafaqeeh was appointed Secretary-General of Jeddah Governorate at the Excellent Rank, while Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Mutlaq was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice.

In the financial sector, Talal bin Fouad Al-Hammoud was appointed Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs, while Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz Al-Duhaim was appointed Deputy Governor for Executive Affairs.
