Border Guard in Asir arrests three Yemenis for smuggling 10 kg of qat

Saudi Border Guard land patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested three Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 10 kilograms of qat.

Authorities stated that initial legal procedures have been completed for the detainees, and both the suspects and the seized narcotics have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further action.

Security agencies urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 or 994 in other regions, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, as well as via email at (Email:[email protected]). All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
