Makkah Agreement strengthens regional deterrence, says analyst

Political analyst Dr. Saeed Al-Qadi said the integration of the three countries under the Makkah Agreement strengthens regional deterrence against any attempts to undermine the security and stability of the region.

Speaking in an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, Al-Qadi added that Saudi Arabia has advanced in localizing military industries and enhancing its arsenal across land, naval, air, and air defense forces.

He noted that Turkey is distinguished by its military industries and drone technology, while Pakistan has nuclear capabilities and a strong defense industry. He pointed out that the three countries—Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey—are among the leading Islamic nations.

Al-Qadi emphasized that these three countries send a defensive message, serving as both a deterrent and a force for peace. He stressed that the agreement is not directed against any party but is a deterrence policy, and noted that it has been positively received both regionally and internationally.
