Four falcons sold for SAR 203,250 at international falcon farms auction

Four falcons were sold for a total of SAR 203,250 on the fourth night of the 2026 International Falcon Farms Auction, organized by the National Center for Falcons at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event features leading falcon breeding farms from around the world and will run until August 25, attracting significant interest from falconers and visitors passionate about this heritage.

The evening began with the first falcon, a pure gyrfalcon chick from a Slovenian farm, which opened bidding at SAR 50,000 and sold for SAR 135,000. The second falcon, a shaheen chick from a Portuguese farm, was sold for SAR 21,000.

The third falcon, a gyr hybrid chick from a Canadian farm, was sold for SAR 17,250. The night concluded with the fourth falcon, another shaheen chick from a Portuguese farm, which went to its new owner for SAR 30,000.

The auction serves as a unique and trusted international platform for elite falcons from around the globe, offering a fast-paced, competitive live auction that brings together falconers and breeders from Saudi Arabia and worldwide. The event is broadcast on television and streamed live on the National Center for Falcons' social media accounts.
