Al-Azhar condemns attacks on Saudi Arabia as violation of neighborly principles

Al-Azhar has strongly condemned the recent attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, describing them as a clear violation of Islamic principles of good neighborliness and the rights of neighboring states, as well as an unacceptable infringement on the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security, and stability.

In a statement issued today from Cairo, Al-Azhar warned that the continuation of such attacks represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the stability and security of the region.

The statement noted that these actions could endanger the lives of innocent civilians and further deepen tensions and conflict in the area.

Al-Azhar also called on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid further escalation and tensions, urging reason and wisdom to prevail in order to safeguard the region’s security, stability, and the well-being of its people.
