Jeddah governor receives 2026 Healthy City Program report

Jeddah Governor Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi received the 2026 "Jeddah Healthy City" Program report during a meeting on Monday at the governorate headquarters with Dr. Mishaal bin Misfer Al-Sayali, Director of the Ministry of Health’s Jeddah branch, and several health sector leaders.

The governor reviewed the program’s achievements in promoting public health and quality of life, commending the efforts of the Ministry of Health branch and the collaboration among participating entities, which contribute to realizing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The report stated that four model neighborhoods were evaluated in the first phase, with an additional nine neighborhoods assessed in the second phase. Most performance indicators exceeded a 98% completion rate.

Program achievements and expansion of green spaces

The report noted that 18 field visits were conducted during the year, alongside an expansion of green spaces, which now cover a total area exceeding 2.3 million square meters.

Additionally, Jeddah Governorate participated in activities marking the Gulf Unified Healthy Cities Day, as part of ongoing efforts to promote community health.
