General Authority unveils smart solutions for Two Holy Mosques facilities at LEAP

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque participated as a bronze sponsor at the LEAP conference in Riyadh, where it showcased the latest smart facilities and digital technologies used at the Two Holy Mosques.

The Authority’s participation was themed “A New Era of Advanced Technology at the Two Holy Mosques,” featuring specialized sections such as the immersive experience of the Two Holy Mosques, smart facilities, digital twin technology, an integrated unified operations center, a dedicated 5G network, as well as Internet of Things and artificial intelligence solutions.

Advanced technology applications

The Authority highlighted a range of technology applications including crowd management, smart maintenance, asset management, energy, security, mobility, and data analytics. These solutions aim to enhance safety, operational efficiency, rapid response, and the overall experience for visitors.

The Authority explained that smart facilities and digital twin technology were central to its showcase, using interactive visual content that combines real imagery with 3D models and up-to-date data to demonstrate the role of technology in managing and operating the facilities of the Two Holy Mosques and serving millions of visitors.

Fostering innovation and technology partnerships

The Authority’s presence at LEAP aims to highlight the ongoing digital transformation at the Two Holy Mosques, attract innovative solutions and specialized expertise, develop technology partnerships, and explore future-ready technologies. It also seeks to provide opportunities for pilot projects and knowledge transfer to support the development of services at the holy sites.

The Authority invited technology companies, organizations, and specialists to visit its booth at HALL2, H2.H30, to learn about the showcased applications and solutions and explore collaboration opportunities to build a smarter future in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
