Jeddah cornea conference exhibition showcases latest eye care technologies

The medical exhibition held alongside the first international conference of the Saudi Society of Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Jeddah showcased the latest devices and technologies used in diagnosing and treating eye diseases, as well as surgical instruments and new pharmaceutical developments.

The exhibition offered doctors and specialists the opportunity to explore the newest scientific tools and technologies in corneal and eye surgery, and to engage with experts about their application in the medical sector.

Keeping pace with scientific advances

The exhibits complemented the conference’s scientific sessions, which addressed recent developments in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal diseases, advances in cataract and refractive surgeries, and the latest lenses used in eye operations, in addition to presenting new research and modern surgical techniques.

The exhibition runs alongside the conference, which is being held in Jeddah until September 26, and features scientific sessions and specialized workshops aimed at exchanging knowledge and expertise in ophthalmology and eye surgery.
