In a statement from its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lithuania reaffirmed its firm support for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, calling for an end to destabilizing actions by Iran and its proxies in the region.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation had earlier announced, in a follow-up statement regarding the attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday, Rabi Al-Akhir 29, 1448 AH (October 10, 2026), that 12 people were killed, including two Saudis, eight Bangladeshis, one American, and one Egyptian.

The authority also stated that the attack resulted in injuries to 309 people, including 12 Sudanese, one American, one Egyptian, one Ukrainian, one Syrian, one Palestinian, and one Saudi national.
