Islamic affairs minister orders Friday sermon to focus on traffic law awareness

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh has instructed mosque preachers across the Kingdom to dedicate the upcoming Friday sermon on 15 Rabi Al-Awwal 1448 AH to raising awareness about the obligation to comply with traffic regulations.

The ministry stated on its X platform that this initiative aims to protect lives and property. The directive also emphasized that abiding by traffic laws is a religious duty, preserving life is a key objective of Islamic law, and driving in accordance with regulations reflects societal awareness, culture, and civil behavior.
