Saudi Red Crescent wins World First Aid Cup, highlighting training and innovation

Saudi Red Crescent spokesperson Dr. Taimur Jan said the Kingdom’s victory in the World First Aid Cup demonstrates the integration of training and innovation in emergency medical services, as well as the competence of national personnel.

Speaking to Al Ekhbariya TV, he added that the team’s participation involved three tracks: awareness-based emergency work, innovation, and scenario-based simulation training.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority team was crowned World First Aid Cup champions, marking a global achievement that reflects the excellence and distinction of national teams in first aid and community awareness.

The tournament was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from August 24 to 26, 2026, and was jointly organized by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
