Saudi crown prince, Spanish prime minister discuss bilateral cooperation by phone

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

During the call, the two leaders discussed areas of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Spain and explored ways to enhance ties across various fields. They also reviewed several issues of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Sánchez expressed his country's condemnation and strong disapproval of the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on Saudi vessels, which threaten freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. He affirmed Spain's full support for the Kingdom and its backing of all measures taken to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and interests.
