Jazan deputy governor reviews smart security system at Jazan University

Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Deputy Governor of Jazan Region, visited Jazan University today, where he was received by University President Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Aburasin.

During the visit, the deputy governor was briefed on the surveillance, control, and operations system at the General Department of Campus Safety and Security. He listened to an explanation of the electronic monitoring systems and modern technologies in use, including smart access systems and both long- and short-range surveillance cameras.

Officials explained that these systems help improve safety and security, regulate access and parking, and enhance the security of students living in university housing.

The officials added that the General Department of Campus Safety and Security is working to upgrade its fleet of security vehicles, boosting their reliability and operational efficiency to better support work teams and improve spending efficiency and service quality within the university campus.

Enhancing technological solutions for campus security

Prince Nasser bin Jalawi emphasized the importance of employing modern technological solutions to develop the university's security system, which will improve quality of life, raise safety and security standards, and enhance operational efficiency. This aligns with the university's mission and strategic goals, and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
