Saudi environment minister visits Pakistan to boost food production ties

Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadley began a visit to Pakistan on Wednesday, aiming to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in food production, and to discuss ways to improve irrigation and water systems to boost food security and support the growth of bilateral trade.

During the visit, Al-Fadley and his accompanying delegation are scheduled to hold meetings with government officials to explore opportunities for joint cooperation, expand partnership prospects, and review key opportunities in agricultural and livestock production as well as food processing. The talks will also include exchanging experiences and expertise to support the sustainability and growth of the agricultural sector.

The visit reflects the commitment of both countries to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding high-value economic cooperation. Discussions will also cover mutual investment opportunities in food security, supporting both nations' strategic goals and enhancing their partnership.
