Saudi Passports Authority issues 24,417 rulings against residency and labor violators

The General Directorate of Passports, through its administrative committees in regional passport offices, issued 24,417 administrative rulings during the month of Safar 1448 AH against citizens and residents who violated residency, labor, and border security regulations.

The penalties included imprisonment, financial fines, and deportation, according to the Passports Authority.

The authority urged all citizens and residents, including business owners and individuals, not to transport, employ, harbor, conceal, or provide any assistance to those violating residency, labor, or border security regulations, including helping them find work, housing, or transportation.

The directorate called on the public to cooperate and report violators by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom, stressing that all reports are handled with complete confidentiality and without any liability for the informant.
