Makkah Municipality urges fencing of buildings under construction

The municipality explained that fencing construction sites is a regulatory requirement designed to protect pedestrians from falling tools and building materials, and also helps safeguard both public and private property.

It added that adhering to fencing regulations helps prevent violations and improves the overall appearance of the city, calling on all property owners and contractors to cooperate in enhancing the urban landscape.

Reporting violations via the Balady app

The municipality also urged citizens and residents to report any violations related to unfenced construction sites through the Balady electronic app, stressing that the city is a shared responsibility and that community awareness is key to its preservation.
