Ethiopian national arrested in Jazan for smuggling 67,200 narcotic pills

Border Guard ground patrols in the Al-Daer sector of Jazan region have arrested an Ethiopian national for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 67,200 medically regulated pills.

According to a statement posted by the Border Guard on its X account, initial legal procedures have been completed, and the suspect and the seized pills have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom. All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
