AI reshaping jobs but cannot replace human decision-making, expert says
Artificial intelligence is transforming future jobs but still cannot substitute for human intuition in decision-making, says a Saudi IT professor.
Key Takeaways
AIDr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutraf, professor of information technology at King Saud University, said that artificial intelligence has begun to change the jobs of the future.
Speaking to Al Ekhbariya channel, he added that AI cannot yet be relied upon for decision-making, as it lacks human intuition.
Al-Mutraf noted that globally, technology is becoming the backbone and main driver of trends at the personal, family, organizational, legislative, and major corporate levels.
He pointed out that some of the world's largest companies have started rehiring employees previously laid off due to AI, after realizing that artificial intelligence is still in a training and development phase.
