OIC Secretary-General Congratulates Saudi Arabia on Winning Bid to Host Expo 2030 in Riyadh
Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hussein Ibrahim Taha congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people for their winning bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.
Taha said that winning the right to host World Expo 2030 reflects the Kingdom’s leading status in the international community and is a recognition of Riyadh’s potential to host prestigious global events.
He also underscored that winning the bid to host Expo 2030 was the result of relentless and intense efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
He expressed his wishes of further success and prosperity for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reiterating that selecting Riyadh to host the World Expo is a triumph not only for the Kingdom but also for the entire Islamic world.
