Saudi Arabia leads Europe and Middle East in AI training for women, says Microsoft executive

Microsoft Vice President of Digital Transformation Zainab Alamin has said that Saudi Arabia leads Europe, Africa, and the Middle East in training women in artificial intelligence technologies.

Speaking in an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, Alamin added that 16,000 women have been trained so far, with 5,000 earning certificates and 21 women receiving scholarships to pursue diplomas in artificial intelligence.

She explained that the specialized training program begins with online coursework and concludes with project design and a competition.

Alamin also noted that Saudi Arabia stands out for its high participation rates in such programs.
