Defending the land of the Two Holy Mosques is a great honor, says King Abdulaziz Center director

Dr. Khaled Al-Badawi, director of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, said that defending Saudi Arabia is a great honor, as it is the land of the Two Holy Mosques.

Speaking in an interview broadcast on Al Ekhbariya TV, Al-Badawi added that the Saudi people and its brave soldiers extend a hand of peace, while standing firm against any aggressor.

He continued that this blessed land stands tall thanks to its leadership and people, as it is home to the first mosque built for mankind and the Prophet’s Mosque. Those who defend it are protecting the most sacred places on earth.

Al-Badawi also noted that while Saudis are known for their forgiveness, they are equally capable of responding with strength, defeating their enemies and turning them into a lesson for others.
