Saudi leaders offer condolences to French president on death of former PM Édouard Balladur

King Salman bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of condolences to President Emmanuel Macron of France following the death of former Prime Minister Édouard Balladur.

In his message, King Salman said: "We received the news of the passing of former French Prime Minister Édouard Balladur. We extend to Your Excellency, the family of the deceased, and the friendly people of France our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, wishing you continued safety and that you see no further misfortune."

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also sent a cable of condolences to President Emmanuel Macron on the passing of former Prime Minister Édouard Balladur.

The Crown Prince said: "I received the news of the death of former French Prime Minister Édouard Balladur. I extend to Your Excellency and the family of the deceased my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy, wishing you continued health and safety, and that you experience no further sorrow."
