Saudi citizen fined for illegal grazing in King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve

The Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended a Saudi citizen for violating environmental regulations by grazing 10 camels in prohibited areas within the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve. Legal procedures were taken against him.

The forces stated that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine of 500 riyals (SAR) per animal. They urged the public to report any violations against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other regions of the Kingdom. All reports will be handled confidentially, and informants will not be held liable.
